Their story
Sanaa Al-Foudari, a Kuwaiti activist and martyr, was born in the Salmiya area. She was a student studying at the College of Technology when she was martyred at the hands of Iraqi forces during the invasion of Kuwait. Sanaa is considered the first Kuwaiti woman to be martyred in the demonstrations against the invasion of Kuwait.
