محمد اللنجاوي

Muhammad Al-Lingawi is a Qatari actor, broadcaster, and sports commentator. He is best known for his character “Baba Al-Najjar,” which he used to present as a broadcaster on children’s programs and summer activities. He was known as a broadcaster with a sense of humor with children. He also had several appearances in productions from other countries such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. In addition, he appeared as a guest of honor in many plays and festivals and had several minor works in soap operas. He became famous in the eighties and his fame continued for nearly thirty years. As for his career as a sports commentator, he began commentating in 1988 on Qatari league matches and continued commentating until 2004. He then headed to presenting programs and festivals. He died on Sunday evening, July 26, 2015, after a long illness, after he had fallen ill in October 2014 due to diabetes.
