Their story
(Mersinli) Ahmet Kireççi, Turkish wrestler. He is one of the first two Turkish athletes to rank in the history of the Olympics. He won the gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics and brought Türkiye its first Olympic medal with the bronze medal it won at the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics.
