Alberts Kviesis, born 12 October 1881 in Tērvete in the Governorate of Courland in the Russian Empire, died 9 August 1944 in Riga in Latvia in the Reichskommissariat Ostland, was a politician and the third president of Latvia during the period 9 April 1930–11 April 1936.
