Their story
Alfred Stock was a German inorganic chemist. He carried out pioneering work in the areas of borane and silane chemistry, high vacuum technology and the toxicity of mercury. The Society of German Chemists awarded the Alfred Stock Memorial Prize named after him until 2020.
