Their story
Ferdinand August Bebel was a socialist German politician and journalist. He was one of the founders of German social democracy and is still considered one of its outstanding historical figures to this day. He was one of the most important parliamentarians during the German Empire and also emerged as an influential author. His popularity was reflected in the popular names “Emperor Bebel”, “Counter-Kaiser” or “Worker Emperor”.
