2008年8月10日，香港旺角彌敦道的嘉禾大廈發生五級大火，事件造成4死55傷，死者包括兩名消防員。這是香港回歸後及21世紀以來首宗的五級火警，而上一宗五級火警是在1996年發生的嘉利大廈大火。
