Their story
Ed Thrasher, born Edward Lee Thrasher Jr. was an American photographer. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. In 1957, he started working at Capitol Records as an assistant. Later, he mainly devoted himself to the creation of covers for music albums. For example, he participated in the album covers of Neil Young, Captain Beefheart, Duke Ellington, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra or The Beach Boys and many others. He was nominated for a Grammy award several times for his work. From 1962 to 1983, his wife was actress Linda Gray. He died of cancer at the age of 74.
