Their story
Eladio Dieste was a Uruguayan engineer and architect who made his reputation by building silos, factories, markets and churches, almost all in Uruguay, with exceptional elegance of form. He created, among others, the technique called reinforced ceramics, which was not found anywhere else in the world at the time.
