Their story
Evžen Erban was a Czech and Czechoslovak politician of the Czechoslovak Social Democracy, after 1948 the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, a member of the Provisional National Assembly, the Constituent National Assembly, the National Assembly of Czechoslovakia, the Czech National Council and the House of Nations of the Federal Assembly. Minister of social welfare of the governments of Czechoslovakia and for decades an important functionary of the communist regime.
