Fadwa Soliman or Fadwa Suleiman was a Syrian actress of Alawite origin. She rose to prominence as the leader of a predominantly Sunni protest against President Bashar al-Assad in Homs. She was considered one of the most famous faces of the Syrian revolution in 2011 and 2012.
