François Marcantoni, born May 28, 1920 and died August 17, 2010, was a resistance fighter, then a figure in the Pigalle milieu from the 1950s. He notably fueled legal news from January 1969 for his supposed involvement in the Marković affair. He is nicknamed “Monsieur François” or “Commander”.
