Gerhard Schumann was a German writer, an effective propagandist during the Nazi era and a Nazi cultural official. He joined National Socialism at an early age and received numerous Nazi honors. With his literary as well as his cultural and general political contributions, he contributed to the implementation and maintenance of the Nazi system. Schumann worked as a publisher in post-war Germany.
