Their story
Halil Kut is a Turkish soldier. He is also known as the "Hero of Kut al-Amara". He is the uncle of Enver Pasha and Nuri Pasha, and the brother of Hacı Ahmed Pasha. After the Surname Law was enacted in 1934, the surname "Kut" was given by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk due to the Kût'ül-Amare Victory.
