Their story
Hans Gustav Röhr was a German designer and automobile manufacturer. In 1926 he founded his own car brand that bore his name, but failed as an entrepreneur. He then became chief designer at Adlerwerke AG, where he designed the well-known Adler Trumpf. In 1935 he moved to Daimler-Benz AG as technical director. In August 1937, after driving a cabriolet, he became ill with fatal pneumonia.
