Henri Amouroux, born July 1, 1920 in Périgueux and died August 5, 2007 in Le Mesnil-Mauger, in the former commune of Sainte-Marie-aux-Anglais (Calvados), is a French journalist, writer and historian, member of the Institut de France and president of the Albert-Londres prize for 21 years. His main work is The Great History of the French under the Occupation.
