Hugo Doskočil

Hugo Doskočil was a Czech Roman Catholic priest, papal prelate, honorary canon of the residential chapter, member of the faculty of doctors of Charles University, emeritus professor of biblical studies of the New Testament and associate professor of Christian art, emeritus state conservator of the office of artistic and historical monuments and emeritus rector of the priestly seminary in Hradec Králové. He was ordained a priest in Rome on March 10, 1900. In 1949, he was imprisoned as a representative of the Roman Catholic Church. He is buried in his native Hnátnica.
