Their story
Imre Németh [ˈimrɛ ˈneːmɛt] was a Hungarian hammer thrower. His greatest success was winning the gold medal at the 1948 Olympic Games. He also held the world record in the hammer throw from 1948 to 1952. In addition to his sporting career, Németh also sat in the Hungarian parliament from 1949 to 1953 and was then active as an athletics official for a long time.
