Isaac Izrailevich Brodsky is a Russian painter and graphic artist of Jewish origin, who worked in St. Petersburg - Leningrad during the Silver Age and the first Soviet decades, an ideologist of “socialist realism”, a teacher and collector, and the author of memoirs; master of historical painting and portrait painter, one of the pioneers and active author of visual Leninism, caricaturist.
