Ivan Pavlovich Mezh is a Belarusian Soviet prose writer, playwright, and publicist. People's Writer of the BSSR (1972). Laureate of the Yakub Kolas Literary Prize (1962), the Lenin Prize (1972) and the Yakub Kolas State Prize of the Belarusian SSR (1976). Member of the USSR Writers' Union (1945).
