Their story
Jaroslav Kabeš was a Czech and Czechoslovakian economist, banker and politician of the Communist Party of the Czech Republic, in the post-February period the Minister of Finance, in the 1950s the general director of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia. In addition to political activities, he also devoted himself to poetry, philosophy and translation. He published several poetry collections.
