Their story
Jędrzej Moraczewski was a Polish PPS politician in Galicia and Cieszyn Silesia, trade union official, Austrian member of parliament (1907–1918) and from November 17, 1918 to January 16, 1919, the first Prime Minister of the re-established Polish state. He was deputy marshal of the National Constituent Assembly and a PPS Sejm deputy until 1927. In 1927 he was expelled from the PPS, and in 1928 he was one of the co-founders of the Revolutionary Faction (PPS-d). In 1931 he founded a trade union association and was its chairman until 1939.
