Their story
Juan Ventosa y Calvell was a Spanish lawyer, economist and politician. He was Minister of Finance and Supplies during the reign of Alfonso XIII. One of the most relevant figures of Catalan political regionalism, being founder of the Lliga Regionalista. During the Civil War and the dictatorship, he participated in the politics of the regime.
