Their story
June Mathis, born June Beulah Hughes, was an American screenwriter, who in 1919 became the first female film executive in Hollywood history. In 1926 she was voted by AMPAS as the third most influential woman in Hollywood after Mary Pickford and Norma Talmadge. She is also remembered for having discovered Rudolph Valentino.
