Hendrik Jacobus (Kobie) Coetsee (1931–2000) was an Afrikaner lawyer and politician from South Africa, member of the National Party (NP), Minister of Justice from 1980 to 1994 and of Defense from 1993 to 1994, government negotiator during the transition to multiracial democracy in 1992–1994 and President of the Senate of 1994 to 1996.
