Kurt Finker was a German historian. He made a name for himself above all with his works on military and civil resistance against National Socialism, which achieved high circulation, were translated into several languages and also found recognition among Western historians. The fact that Finker no longer limited anti-fascism to communist resistance marked a turning point in the history of the GDR.
