Lothar “Emma” Emmerich was a German football player and coach. In the Bundesliga he scored 115 goals in 183 appearances, which is the third best rate of the most successful goalscorers in the Bundesliga. From 1960/61 to 1977/78, a total of 279 goals in championship games are listed for the attacker with the “left stick” at the clubs Borussia Dortmund, K. Beerschot VAV, SK Austria Klagenfurt, 1. FC Schweinfurt 05, Würzburger FV 04 and Würzburger Kickers.
