Maxim Fadeevich Rylsky is a Soviet Ukrainian poet, translator, publicist, public and political figure, linguist, and literary critic. Winner of the Lenin Prize (1960) and two Stalin Prizes. Chairman of the Writers' Union of the Ukrainian SSR (1943-1946).
