Their story
Mariano de San José, born Santiago Altolaguirre Altolaguirre was a Catholic priest of the Trinitarian Order, killed by gunmen in the Republican zone during the beginning of the Spanish Civil War due to his religious status. He was beatified on October 28, 2007 in Rome by Pope Benedict XVI.
