Martin Birch

Martin Birch is a British music producer and sound engineer. He produced the British rock bands Iron Maiden and Deep Purple. Martin Birch's career began as a sound engineer for the bands Deep Purple and Fleetwood Mac. In 1980, he produced Black Sabbath's 9th studio album, Heaven And Hell. A year later, he was hired as a producer for Iron Maiden's second studio album, Killers, and produced all Iron Maiden albums between 1981 and 1992. He retired after the album Fear Of The Dark, which he produced.
