Their story
Martin Roth was a German museum director, cultural scientist and cultural manager. He was President of the German Museum Association from 1995 to 2003. From 1991 to 2001 he was director of the German Hygiene Museum Dresden, from 2001 to 2011 general director of the Dresden State Art Collections and from 2011 to 2016 director of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
