Nikolai Nikitovich Slyunkov is a Soviet party leader. First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus (1983-1987). Member of the CPSU Central Committee (1986-1990), candidate member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee (1986-1987), member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee (1987-1990). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1971). Hero of Socialist Labor (1974).
