The Natascha Kampusch affair is a criminal case. The facts are the kidnapping and confinement of a little Austrian girl, Natascha Kampusch, then aged 10, by Wolfgang Přiklopil, a telecommunications technician. She was held captive for more than eight years, from March 2, 1998 to August 23, 2006, the day she escaped.
