Nora Gal is a Soviet translator of English and French literature into Russian, literary critic, critic and translation theorist, editor. She became famous for her translation of Saint-Exupery's "The Little Prince", Camus' "The Stranger", Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird" and works of world fiction.
