Their story
Joseph (Osip) Aronovich Pyatnitsky is a Russian revolutionary, “old Bolshevik”, Soviet politician and party leader, a prominent figure in the Comintern. In the latter he worked in key positions until 1935. In 1935-1937, head of the administrative and political department of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. In July 1937 he was arrested and executed in 1938.
