Padma Sachdev is an Indian poet and novelist. She is known as the first modern female poet to write works in Dogri language. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1971 and the Padma Shri Award in 2001 for his works such as his poetry collection Meri Kavita Mere Geet.
