Their story
Pernod Ricard is a French listed company, which was originally a manufacturer of Pastis but has now developed into an international distillery group with brands such as Jameson whisky, Ricard pastis, Chivas Regal, Absolut Vodka and Beefeater gin. Pernod Ricard had a turnover of six billion euros in 2006 and employed approximately 17,600 people. On March 31, 2008, the company bought the Swedish company Vin & Sprit with, among other things, the Absolut Vodka brand.
