Philippe Tronche, known as Philippe Curval, born December 27, 1929 in Paris and died August 5, 2023 in the same city, is a novelist and science fiction author, also an illustrator, whose work, begun in 1956, spans the "Golden Age of French science fiction", then the recent - more turbulent - era of the 1980s and 1990s, and has continued since 2000 with several novels including Lothar Blues in 2008.
