Their story

Baron Philippe Roberts-Jones, born November 8, 1924 in Ixelles and died August 9, 2016 in Uccle, is an art historian, chief curator of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium of which he was president in 1980 and permanent secretary, member of the Royal Academy of French Language and Literature of Belgium, member from the Institut de France and professor emeritus at the Free University of Brussels. A prolific author, he also devoted himself to poetry and art history. His works were made free during his lifetime.
