Ricardo Juan Antonio Saprissa Aymá was a Salvadoran athlete and businessman who was naturalized as a Costa Rican. In his youth he practiced several sports, standing out as a tennis player, although he was also a fan of baseball, soccer and field hockey, among other sports. Soccer was the sport that gave him the most popularity.
