Rashid Rida or Muhammad Rashid ibn ʿAlí Rida was an Islamic reformer, editor of the Islamic magazine al-Manár, and the most important student of Muhammad Abdo and Jamaluddin Afghani. He was also an inspiration for Hasan al-Banna and Sajjid Qutb.
