Their story
Shyamal Chakraborty is an Indian politician. He was a Rajya Sabha member from 2008 to 2014. He served as Transport Minister of West Bengal between 1982 and 1996. He was also a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from 1981 to 1996. He died at the age of 76 from cardiac arrest on August 6, 2020, after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
