Their story
Tuíre Kayapó, also known as Tuíra, is a Brazilian indigenous rights activist, environmentalist and leader of the Kayapó people. She actively campaigned in the movement against the Belo Monte dam project on the Xingu in the 1980s and against the constitutional amendment PEC 215 in the 2010s.
