Their story
Ulrich Plenzdorf was a German writer, screenwriter and dramaturge. His best-known work is The New Sorrows of Young W., which was published in prose form in 1972 and premiered as a stage play. He was best known to film audiences for the screenplay The Legend of Paul and Paula (1973), and later the film novel Legend of Happiness Without End (1979) was released.
