Volodymyr Stepanovych Holubnychy, born June 2, 1936 in Sumy and died August 16, 2021 in the same city, is a Soviet athlete of Ukrainian nationality, who dominated the 20 km walk in the 1960s and 1970s, winning four Olympic medals.
