Vulcana

Miriam Kate Williams, sometimes called Kate Roberts, better known by her stage name Vulcana, is a Welsh strongwoman born to Irish parents in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. In the company of the strongman William Hedley Roberts, better known as Atlas, she toured the music halls of Great Britain, Europe and Australia. The pair perform under the name “The Atlas and Vulcana Group of Society Athletes.”
