William Drew Washburn, born January 14, 1831 in Livermore, Maine, died July 29, 1912 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was an American Republican politician and businessman. He represented Minnesota in the United States Senate from 1889-1895. Politicians Israel Washburn, Cadwallader C. Washburn, and Elihu B. Washburne were all his brothers. Cousin Dorilus Morrison was the first mayor of Minneapolis.
