朱自清（1898年11月22日—1948年8月12日），原名自華，字佩弦，號實秋。生於江苏省连云港市东海县平明镇埠上村，籍贯浙江紹興，中華民國作家，以官話白話文的散文和新詩著稱，尤以散文《背影》、《荷塘月色》著名。曾任清華大學中國文學系主任。
